ZONNEBLOEM MAKING NEW TRADITIONS

Fundraising has become part of the Nest's new tradition. We kickstarted with our Junior (Grade 8 to Grade 10) Sleep Over. The learners were to pay an entrance fee, and were offered supper, games, treasure hunts and a movie. Bonfires, story telling, and even abit of jolling made this sleepover 'gevaarlik'. Due to its success we are planning somethings even better. WATCH THIS SPACE!

Community Cohesion 'Uplifting the School' campaign: Zonnebloem Nest is forever greatful for the time, energy, and love Community Cohesion put into bettering our school grounds. Community Leader Bronwyn Moore and her team have joined forces with the Nest by planting, painting, fixing, building and generally creating an environment which is fun and exciting for our school learners. This has built an atmosphere of unity and pride amongst the learners and educators. Not only has Community Cohesion uplifted our school, they have taken the time to invest in the lives of our learners and teachers, through Grade 8 to Grade 12 leadership programs, sleepovers, workshops and fundraisers. We look forward to more programs and investment into the future of Zonnebloem Nest.
